Any advice on specimen tubes? I notice there are occasional photos of micro moths taken with the moth inside a tube. Glass would be best for that I guess, and from Anglian Lepidopterist supplies? And a mix of sizes?

Glass makes ID and photography much easier than plastic, although there is more risk of personal injury with glass (particularly if, like me, you carry some in pockets). 25mm diameter x 50mm is plenty large enough for all micros and many macros, too. Lots of these are needed. Available from Anglian and Watkins and Doncaster. I also use plastic boxes, 58mm x 38mm x 22mm from WatDon for larger Noctuids and Geometers and I keep a few 70mm x 70mm x 30mm boxes for the biggest jobs (plus very active moths) like Emperor, or Oak Eggar.
