The presence of the first large ranunculus tells me that autumn is certainly underway.

All Quiet on the Moth Front...
Due to unsuitable weather timings or just plain tiredness, I have n`t trapped away from home for a couple of weeks. I have, however, trapped at home but the catches have been - frankly - boring and I mostly have n`t even jotted down what I`ve caught.
Last night`s catch was similar - all those yellow underwings and setaceous hebrew characters with a sprinkling of other moths to add vague interest.
The presence of the first large ranunculus tells me that autumn is certainly underway.
