A brief walk...

I had about 20 minutes spare yesterday evening, so I went for a short walk on Bigyn Hill, Llanelli - not `dusking` - I was not intending to record moths. This urban greenspace occupies high ground overlooking both the town northwards and the Burry Inlet/Gower to the south, and areas of grass have been left uncut as part of a new regime, both to cut costs and to favour biodiversity (the grass areas are cut later in the season).
The sole point of this note is to mention that diamond-back moths were numerous - a `guesstimate` is that I saw about a hundred.
