Was Friday night too early?

Well, maybe it was, for I caught two Early Moths at the MV trap in the alder grove at Cwmllwyd last night. My pun was rather spoilt, however, when a Chestnut and this Pale Brindled Beauty attended as well!


It should be a little warmer tonight (Saturday 12 March), so I will trap again.

    I may have another go at trapping tonight too, perhaps in local woods if I`m up to it...we`ll see. Good try Steve - these early traps can be `hit or miss` but at least the smaller catches mean quicker `processing`.
