Quick Post: last night at Pwll....
I put out the mains actinic last night (15/9) and, in spite of the unexpectedly strong westerly winds on Monday, was surprised by the number of silver y`s in the trap - 18 in total (the most this year), together with singletons of dark sword-grass and rush veneer. Otherwise, it was just a rather poor mix of seasonal resident moths.
