Moth Night/s weather....

Checking the forecast, tonight looks much better than Friday night (heavy rain) or Saturday, so if you`re only doing one night`s trapping, tonight may be the best choice.
Lots of red admirals and one painted lady in the garden at present, also plenty of silver y`s daytime nectaring, which may be promising regarding moth migrants. Speckled woods, small tortoiseshells, a holly blue and a fresh small copper (photo below) also enjoying the last of the sunshine before the fine weather breaks.
