I know the weather is poor now, but it's worth trapping under shelter if you can. Our porch light produced more than 30 species on 26th July, now that the ravenous Great Tits that nested next to it have fledged. Highlights were Green Arches, Dark Swordgrass, Double-line, Lesser Cream Wave, True Lover's-knot and Phlyctaenia stachydalis. I'm still hoping to catch a Small Marbled or Ni Moth this summer...
Have n`t light-trapped for seemingly ages, but there`s a slight weather improvement over the weekend.
