Much windier at dawn at Cwmllwyd than predicted, which probably affected the catch at the MV trap last night (1st May). Even so, 78 moths of 17 species were found this morning, including six FFYs. These were Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet, an overwintering Red-green Carpet, Small Phoenix, Brindled Pug (or, perhaps, Mottled Pug?), Nut-tree Tussock and (moths of the night) Powdered Quaker.
