Saron moths
49 macro species and total of 170 moths with only a few escaping, including 2 pugs and several micros - 4am start and took until 5.30am to jar those I was not sure of! 33 Buff Tips and first of season were Lobster Moth, Blood Vein, Four-dotted Footman, Dingy Footman, Heart and Dart, Oblique Carpet Light Emerald, Broom, Drinker, Sharp-angled Peacock, Foxglove Pug, Burnished Brass, Large Yellow Underwing, Green Arches and a new species for me here - Campion, very similar to Lychnis which I have had several times here. Former seems to be common and widespread so not sure why I have not had it before. Hummingbird Hawk moth during the day on a few occasions.
