Micros

My plan was to photograph Bugle Ajuga reptans growing alongside a small stream at Cwmllwyd.


Back at the house, I enlarged a section of the picture to check for sharpness and was astonished to find these tiny moths on the plant!


I retraced my steps to the stream and with a close-up adaptor on the camera, I got this rather poor quality shot


of Micropterix calthella - a first for Cwmllwyd.
