A Modest but Interesting Catch
The Brindled Beauties must have exhausted themselves on Tuesday night because not one appeared last night. In fact the small actinic trap attracted only nine moths, but they did include Oak Hook-tip and a Double-striped Pug, pretty sure about this one - small size, wings with straight leading edges and pointed tips. The only other species were Hebrew Character, Small Phoenix, Pebble Prominent and Water Carpet.
