Put the MV trap out at home last night (3.4.14) for the first time this year, and the results were about the same as my recent actinic trap catches. I prefer the latter, as more moths seem to enter the trap (rather than being outside) and there`s not the strong glare of MV light.
The usual seasonal assemblage were present, but nothing of note, though a powdered quaker was my first for the year.
Above: in clockwise fashion from bottom left - powdered, common, small and twin-spot quakers.
