A problem caterpillar....
Dave Bannister sought my help yesterday regarding the identification of a caterpillar, found last summer at Ffos-las near Trimsaran by Maggie James. I`m afraid that, after a quick scan through books, I could not decide on what it is - any ideas please? Probably something obvious!

I'm no caterpillar expert but the closest I could get was dun-bar. It looks pretty close to the photo in Chris Manley's book.
