Brimstone and Bee-flies

My (only) second brimstone of the spring in the garden (Tyrwaun, Pwll) today - a male. Also my first bee-flies Bombylius major this year -many nectaring at garden flowers.

    Brimstone on the A484 west of Trostre roundabout too yesterday, plus Small Tort & Bombus lapidaries off Pemberton roundabout
