I put two actinics out last night (27/2/15), placed in different parts of Furnace Quarry, just N of Llanelli. Still very quiet with only four species (joint trap totals) present when I picked up the traps en route to the `Saturday shop` this morning: chestnut x1, dotted border x3, pale brindled beauty x1 and a micro (to be looked at later).
The pale brindled beauty was a moderately useful record of an under-recorded early species. Probably a bit too wet and windy tonight for trapping!
